Inferno, also known as Fern, is a stunning 10-year-old Warmblood with a big heart and a bigger appetite. He’s ridden by Taylor Landstrom, who trains at Three Ships.
Fern is, quite simply, the best. With his kind eyes, steady presence, and generous spirit, he’s the kind of horse who quietly becomes the center of everything. Whether it’s in the barn or the show ring, Fern shows up and gives his all—every single time.
His favorite treat? Anything and everything. Fern isn’t picky—if it’s edible, he’s interested.
Taylor has had Fern for four and a half years, and in that time, their bond has only grown deeper. “There are too many special memories with him to count,” Taylor says. From quiet moments at the barn to big moments in the ring, their story is built on trust, time, and lots of shared experiences.
Taylor began riding at just 4 years old, driven by a pure and simple love of horses. That love has only grown with time—and with Fern by her side, the journey continues to be as meaningful as ever.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica.
