Brixton is an 11-year-old Welsh pony ridden by Currie Cooper, who trains with Richard Cunkle.
With his playful spirit and love for attention, Brixton is basically an overgrown puppy dog. He’s known for giving out licks like candy and never turns down a treat—especially Altoids, his favorite. Sweet, affectionate, and full of charm, he’s the kind of pony who captures hearts wherever he goes.
Currie’s favorite memory with Brixton is one they’ll never forget: winning WCHR Week at WEF with a score of 92. It was a standout moment in their partnership and a testament to the trust and connection they’ve built together.
Their story began thanks to their trainer, who introduced Brixton to the team. The first ride wasn’t perfect—Currie struggled a bit—but came back for a second try. That’s when everything clicked. Sometimes the best partnerships take a little patience, and for Currie and Brixton, that second ride was the beginning of something special.
