FEYOCK | 20 YEAR OLD WESTFELEN | HUTTO, TX

Feyock is a 20 year old black Westfelen with two white socks and a large white blaze. He was bred by Andrea Sieg and is from Germany and is by Funkenspiel and out of Rupie. He now lives at Timber Ghost Stables in Hutto, TX.

Feyock is a very special boy, he is very particular about his riders. He has to be ridden with respect or else he will not cooperate. It just so happens that Feyock found this in a very special little field named Kasey. Feyock is currently being ridden by Amy’s daughter Kasey. Kasey is learning so much about dressage on this horse and even earned her Bronze medal back in April!  Feyock has won at multiple dressage shows and high point awards for the Westfelen. A friend of Kasey’s mom had him first, but Amy has owned him since 2008. The first time they met Feyock was under a very cold day with high winds and although riding was interesting they knew they had to have him! Kasey says Feyock is picky, but he sure does love carrots!

Kasey has grown up around horses. She loves to be outside riding them and she especially loves learning the art of Dressage from a fabulous teacher like Feyock. She mentions to ride all horses with respect and kindness, and that the horse will reward you for that. Kasey shares, “My first ride on Feyock I was so nervous, but then after a few moments I realized we were going to get along just fine and he was going to be teaching me so much! I began doing lateral movements and flying changes for the first time on any horse and really began to understand all the hard work I had been putting in on my pony paid off when I was big enough to ride Feyock.”
