Cautivo VII is an Andalusian Stallion. He is owned by Amy Denny of Timber Ghost Stables in Hutto,TX.

Cautivo is a super special boy, he is trained through Grand Prix in Dressage. He is originally from Spain and won the National Championship in Spain. Amy has really enjoyed getting to ride him and learn all of the FEI movements on him.

Amy shares a story of how she found Cautivo, “A friend of mine knew of this horse in Wellington (he was owned by her friend) and they were looking for a riding home where he could also eventually retire. He is a stallion as well so that was part of the equation on finding the right new home for his golden years.”

“I rode Tivo with a broken foot and had not been in the saddle for over 2 years. He bucked with me a few times and I just laughed and we went on our merry way.”

This brilliant horse loves peanuts, unsalted with the shell on.

Amy has been riding horses since she was a child and has owned horses for over 30 years. She has always loved the smell of a horse and the barn. She enjoys taking care of them and watching them in the pasture from their porch, and of course riding them.

Amy shares her favorite memory about this handsome boy, “Taking Tivo to our first show and knowing I was riding a fabulous stallion who knows his job in the show ring. In the past I always rode horses that spooked so Tivo was a relief knowing I just had to ride my best and show him off. He fulfilled that and much more.”
