Twain, also known as Finn, is a 9-year-old Hanoverian gelding. Finn is ridden by Evie Becky and trains out of Bridgeport Farms, where he’s known for being the ultimate barn sweetheart.
Finn is the kindest and bravest horse Becky has ever had the opportunity to ride. In the barn, he’s all cuddles—the kind of horse that leans into your hugs and makes the world feel a little softer. He brings not only talent but an incredible emotional connection to everything he does.
One of Becky’s most treasured memories with Finn happened just a few weeks ago, when he took her around her first-ever Capital Challenge. It was a huge milestone moment, and Finn handled it like a seasoned professional—brave, steady, and full of heart. “I am so grateful for the best partner,” Becky shares.
Finn came into Becky’s life in June of 2024, though his story began with legendary horsemen Ceil and Kenny Wheeler, who previously owned him. But the moment Becky sat on him for the first time, she just knew—this was the horse for her.
And when it comes to food? Finn will eat literally anything—a true barn garbage disposal with zero pickiness and an endless appetite.
Becky began riding at age 9, drawn to horses for their calming, grounding presence. That feeling has only deepened with time—and with Finn in her life, the bond between horse and rider continues to be a source of joy, peace, and incredible partnership.
