Mackenzie & Romeo’s equestrian portrait session was nothing short of perfection. We ended the day with an equestrian look, complete with her show coat and custom bows that say Mackenzie & Romeo. Sienna Stables is an equestrian facility tucked away in Sienna Plantation which is located just outside of Houston, and it is absolutely amazing. Gosh, what I would have given to have a horse riding facility located right inside of my neighborhood growing up.

I first met Mackenzie & Romeo after their trainer, Kelly Young, connected us after I posted looking for the perfect pony for some portraits with some of my new Joyfolie & TutuDumonde dresses that I had recently purchased for my client closet. We ended up connecting at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show and the rest was history.

Little did I know, Mr. Romeo has quite the following and fan club, upon posting a picture of my 365 Days of Horses Instagram page I quickly received a handful of messages, “Is that Romeo?”

Why yes, this is the one and only Romoe. I think it is safe to say that he is one lucky pony, and is quite the saintly horse for Mackenzie.
