Professor X, better known as “Chuck” around the barn, is an 18-year-old Swedish/Dutch Warmblood. Chuck is a Chestnut standing 16.3 hands with a star on his face. Chuck lives at Fairway Farm in Dallas, TX where he and his rider, Kendall, train with Colleen Acosta. Kendall has been leasing Chuck since August.

Kendall’s favorite memory with Chuck was this past January. She went to get him from his turnout and called his name. “He turned around put his ears up and galloped at the gate where I was standing. He stuck his head over the fence to greet me.”

Kendall found Chuck through the assistant trainer at Fairway Farm, Alexa Borota. Kendall says that she immediately fell in love with him and started leasing him right away.

Kendall shares that Chuck is not the friendliest horse unless you have food… Chuck’s ears are usually back unless you have treats to share or if my mom and I are visiting him at his stall. Once he gets to know you though, he is the sweetest horse on the planet!

Chuck LOVES donuts and likits – we call chomp it’s because he doesn’t lick them he bites them!

Kendall started riding recently about 2 years ago with a couple of old friends. She shares that her favorite thing about leasing Chuck is getting to have that special bond with him. After spending so much time with one another, they are getting to know each other better and better each day and becoming even closer.
