Last year while visiting Springfield,MO on my annual road-trip I had to stop in to see my former barn family at Katalyst Sporthorses. It just so happened that Reece had just sold her pony, and he was going to be headed to his new home in Texas so we set up a time to do portraits of Reece and Arnold, we even got to include the horse she was stepping up to Mr. Q.

The moment when you have to sell your pony because you are growing up and it is time to move onto a big horse is one of those phases that is hard on every horse girl, and I am so grateful that I get to be a part of capturing this incredibly important milestone for so many of my clients.
