Rikki, Marrera SW, is a beautiful 7-year-old Dutch Warmblood ridden by Jessica Pabst Senseney. Jessica trains with Mary Lisa Leffler, Ashley Worthington, and Patty Foster at Rolling Acres.
Rikki is truly the sweetest horse on the planet, with an unmistakable puppy dog personality. He’s a heart horse through and through—kind, gentle, and always eager to please. Despite being young, Rikki carries himself like a seasoned professional in the show ring.
This year marked a big milestone for the pair: Rikki’s first time qualifying for and competing at Indoors—and he handled it like a pro!
His favorite treat? Pretty much anything—but especially Coors Light, thanks to his doting father-in-law who always brings a can for Rikki to enjoy.
Jessica has been riding since she was just 3 years old. Her first show experience? Leadline at The National Horse Show back when it was held at the Meadowlands. Riding has been in her life ever since.
Karinda K. is a Houston, TX based equine photographer that travels around the United States photographing equestrians and their horses. Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica.
