Little Big Man HX, also known as Biggie, is an 8-year-old KWPN gelding with bold personality, unmistakable markings, and a heart as big as his name. Biggie is ridden by Laura Feigus at Nevergreen Farm.
Biggie isn’t just special—he knows he’s special. From the way he carries himself in the ring to how he greets everyone in the barn with kisses and cuddles, he’s the definition of a gentle giant. “I always joke that he’s a big dog,” Laura says. “He loves to give kisses and snuggle. His personality is one of a kind.”
Biggie’s journey to Laura is a story of family ties and perfect timing. He was originally imported by Redfield Farm, where Laura’s brother rode him before he was sold to a customer. Later, Laura had the opportunity to bring him home—and it was the perfect fit.
While Laura doesn’t have one single favorite memory with Biggie yet, she’s hoping that this trip to Harrisburg will be the one that writes a new chapter in their story. “Some of my favorite moments are just hanging out with him, bonding. He’s truly something special.”
His favorite treat? Pretty much anything—but he’s got a soft spot for fruit.
Laura has been riding since birth, raised on a 66-acre farm with horses in her blood. Her mom is a horse trainer, and horses have been at the center of her world from the very beginning. What Laura loves most about riding is the deep bond you build with your horse. “They teach you so much about life,” she says, “and that connection is everything.”

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica.
