Kelley also owns Rosie, Skipping Through the Roses, a Quarter Horse Mare who happens to have one eye. She bought Rosie from a friend at the barn, knowing that Kelley needed a great horse to learn to ride on. A couple of years before we did their portraits, she also had her eye removed due to Glaucoma. All of her scars are what make her unique, and she is truly a little warrior horse for making it through so many challenges in life.
