GAMBOL PSH | 12 YEAR- OLD WELSH/ WARMBLOOD MARE | RICHMOND, TX
Belle, whose show name is Gambol PSH, is a 12-year-old Welsh/Warmblood mare. This great pony mare trained at Regal Sport Horses. Belle has earned the nickname “Smelly” due to her tendency to be quite the pig. Despite this, she is an incredibly good girl who has taught Paisley a lot. Belle throws tantrums when she knows she’s in trouble but will do anything for a treat, especially to munch on some Peeps and Skittles.
“My favorite memory was winning champion at Winter Series this year because it was our first champion together in a new division,” Paisley recalls. This achievement was a significant milestone in their journey together.
Belle was initially bought by Paisley’s mom as a project pony, but her awesomeness made her irreplaceable, leading Paisley to take her over. Belle has since been an integral part of Paisley’s equestrian journey, bringing her up to the children’s division.
Paisley, who has been riding for five years, has had three horses, with Belle being her third. She describes Belle as sassy and sweet, loving the funny looks she gives when begging for something. This past year marks both Paisley and Belle’s first in the children’s division.
The Ralph family moved after Pin Oak and sold this sweet horse to the Lebsack family.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. With the help of the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show family, Karinda has raised over $30,000 for Candlelighter’s Houston since starting this project.
