Meet “FE Smokey”, a handsome grey gelding with a distinguishing dark grey mane and unforgettably kind eyes. He is owned and shown by Caitlyn Gidley, and is a very recent addition to Caitlyn’s clan…joining her and her other horse Yuengling “Gin”, whom we photographed together this year at Pin Oak 2022. The pair trains at Oakside in College Station, TX, with Leah Curtiss.

Since this sweet guy is so new to the family, the two have many memories yet to have to be had and cherished. Caitlyn’s new addition fits right into the family perfectly, so it only made sense that we capture the new brothers for a long-lasting memory and a new piece of art for the Gidley home.

Caitlyn has been riding since she was 5 years old, and like many little girls, has always loved horses. Ever since she could remember, she begged her parents for lessons. Once she started, she never looked back. Caitlyn says her favorite thing about owning horses is the fact that they can always make her smile.
