Meet Dreamgirl 22, also known as “Dreamy”, a 10- year-old Holsteiner Mare by Clarimo. Dreamy is a beautiful Grey who lives in Fort Worth, Texas at October Hill Farm. She is owned and ridden by Ava Myers who trains with Christian Heineking.

Ava shares her favorite memory of Dreamy, which was when she first arrived here in the United States from Germany. “I was to try her for the first time in Traverse City, Michigan. My trainer, Christian, had us head to a ring at the top of the FEI rings where I could jump an actual course. I didn’t know what her ability was and we were about to find out. I felt a special connection to her and we ended up jumping a 1.50m with her the first time I tried her. I knew from that point on that she was meant to be my forever horse.”

Ava’s trainer found Dreamy in Germany. Once she was imported to the states and tried by Ava, their connection happened immediately – Ava has owned Dreamy ever since, which was last September. She mentioned that one thing she will never forget from the first time laying eyes on her for the first time was her adorable face!

Dreamy’s treat of choice is Paddy Cakes.

Ava’s grandmother also rode horses which allowed her to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps in sharing a love for these magnificent creatures as well. Ava received her first pony at the age of 8. Ava shares her favorite thing about owning horses is the love that they have for their job and others.
