DALLAS EQUINE PHOTOGRAPHER | JANET THE QUARTER HORSE

Janet, Reinvest In Flash, is a dark bay fifteen year old mare quarter horse. She was bred by Hagen Quarter Horses. Janet is by World Champion western pleasure stallion Reinvest in Gold, by the legendary Invester. Her dam is by The Master Flash out of a Ruffinal dam. She has a full brother, Reinvest in Chocolate, that was an all-around World Champion, and another full brother, Reinvest in Kobe.

Janet lives with her owner, Heather, at Timeless Sport Horses. She is very quiet, unflappable, and hides how sweet she is, and she also doesn’t understand treats. She has been a career broodmare, she had 8 foals prior to Heather purchasing her, has had 1 for Heather and is in-foal with her 10th and likely final foal. Heather found her on Facebook, and got her in August 2014. She had her full brother Kobe at the time and had purchased him as a 2 1/2 year old and had trained him through 3′ hunters. Heather was starting to compete and market him for sale. He was such an easy and good minded boy from day 1, that when Heather tripped across his full sister, she couldn’t resist.

Heather explains Janet as “stoic” and is happy to report she was approved for breeding with RPSI, which is an accomplishment for a Quarter Horse. The RPSI Inspection with her foal by Carry On MF is very memorable to Heather. She impressed the inspector and was approved for breeding and her foal was awarded premium. Her temperament always impresses Heather. “I’m looking forward to her foal by Semaptico M due in 2 weeks!” Heather shares.
