Bunny, Count Hunter, is a Holsteiner Gelding. Bunny lives and trains at Monarch Stables in Austin, TX.
Marnee, the leaser of Bunny shares that the pair first met when Bunny arrived at the Monarch Stables in late December of 2022. Bunny immediately caught her eye with his striking appearance and soon proved to be just as amazing to ride. Marnee was drawn to Bunny’s playful nature and quickly discovered his love for holding onto the brims of hats or helmets or resting his head on top of someone. Bunny’s friendly and affectionate demeanor won Marnee’s heart, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
Marnee has only had Bunny for a short time, but in that time, she’s already created unforgettable memories with him. Her favorite moment was when Bunny gave his all during a recent horse show. Despite being new to the competition, Bunny’s personality shone through, and he impressed Marnee while also displaying his multitude of skills. Marnee was struck by Bunny’s passion and dedication, and she felt incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful horse by her side. Bunny’s sweet face and unwavering commitment make him an irreplaceable part of Marnee’s life.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. During the 2023 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Karinda photographed around 150 Horses and Dogs and was able to donate just under $15,000 to Candlelighter’s Houston.
