Nayade NS, known as Naya in the barn, is a 15 year old P.R.E. Naya lives at Callegari Equestrian Center in Cypress,TX and is owned by Sarah. The pair competes in Dressage and they ride with Michelle Frank.

I got to meet Naya earlier last year when I took Sarah’s Senior Portraits at the barn, and of course, Sarah knew she wanted Black Background Portraits of both of her special horses Naya & Lady.

Naya was Sarah’s first horse, and taught her so many things. They shared many firsts together and grew together. She was an incredibly anxious horse when Sarah first got her, and she still doesn’t like to stay still for too long. She is a typical mare and can be picky about certain things, like having her face touched, unless you find her sweet spot between her ears…then it is all over and she will love you. Naya is also extremely attached to Sarah’s other horse Lady and doesn’t like being away from her.
