I am so excited to share some of my favorite portraits of Maria’s horses. I met Maria in Missouri at Katalyst Sporthorses when we were living in Missouri. Maria has 3 beautiful horses, Maggie, Fiona, and Vito.

I so enjoyed getting to create this composite of Maria’s horses, they all look so much alike, not surprising at all because they are all out of the same bloodlines.

Fiona is on the left, Vito in the middle, and Maggie on the right.

One of the coolest parts about photographing multiple horses that are owned by the same person is getting to create images that will fit together well on the wall, I just knew I had to do a half face shot of both Maggie & Fiona.

Maggie & Maria’s story is incredibly special. Maggie was Maria’s first horse, eventually Maria sold her to a friend and Maggie ended up in Colorado, recently Maria made the trip to Colorado and decided to bring Maggie back with her so that Maggie could live out her life with Maria and her family.

Fiona, Stonehaus Fiona, is incredibly sweet.

Vito, is out of Fiona and happens to be a horse that Maria bred herself.
