The new Joyfolie Ophelia Dress in Mist was a dress that I fell in love with the first time I came across it. It is also one of the newest pieces in my client closet, I just ordered it in a size 12. It is a great look because it is a little more mature and is something that the older girls can wear and still have a dreamy fairytale look for their portraits. Long dresses are great because you don’t have to worry as much about choosing the perfect shoes, but you can still go for something fun like these Alexa Gladiator Sandals from Joyfolie. I love adding a simple braid especially for little girls because it is a great way to keep their hair back and out of their way for portraits, and they always look gorgeous. Braids are my go to style and there are so many ways to put a twist on a braid and give it your own unique look. I came across this image of a pony wearing a floral crown a while back and fell in love with it, how fun would this be for portraits! If you want to do flowers for your portrait session and are not sure how to go about getting something made let me know, I have florists that I work with to create things like this or sometimes I am feeling extra adventurous and make things myself, however I always prefer to leave those things to the professionals because they are a lot more likely to stay in one piece and look fresh for pictures!
