Today I am super excited to be shifting gears and sharing one of Jess’s favorite looks for riding. Jess lives in Southern California and has an Instagram Page, JumpingJesss, and a Youtube Channel where she shares her journey searching for her first horse. Jess loves to share her favorite outfits, and LOVES equestrian fashion. She truly believes that “equestrian fashion is the best fashion,” and uses her social media to share her most recent purchases with other equestrians who are also looking for the best products for themselves and their horses.
Jess’s equestrian look is both classic and practical. She chose to stick with the traditional hunter green and navy. A plaid button down paired with RJ Classics hunter green breeches with brown knee patches, and a light brown braided belt from Hunt Club. Green is one of Jess’s favorite colors, and the breeches were her inspiration for the outfit. She shared, that when she first started thinking of what to wear with these hunter green breeches, that navy immediately came to mind. She immediately went to her closet and found a green and navy shirt from Uniqlo to complete her look.
When I started putting the styled board together for this look, I immediately knew that I wanted to add in some Celeris Bia Tall Boots. Just before writing this blog I was checking out The Styled Equestrian’s Instagram page and saw her post about Celeris boots and fell in LOVE.  I just knew I had to find a way to add these into the look Jess put together. When I started thinking of accessories, I found this gorgeous leather infinity bracelet from Horsin Around Co, would be the perfect accessory for this look.
“When I put together my riding outfits I like to start with breeches, because they are the base of the outfit. I don’t typically go for super bright colors, so hunter green was a great way to add color to my wardrobe without totally abandoning my love of neutrals. After the breeches, I look for a top that complements the color of the breeches, or if the breeches are a muted color, will stand out on its own. I finish off my outfits with either a black or brown belt.”
Jess shares that her favorite equestrian brand is Hunt Club. “All of the designs are spot on, and I find each of the pieces are easy to match with your favorite pair of breeches.” She also shares that she loves RJ Classics Breeches, and although she only owns one pair of the RJ Classics Breeches, they are her favorite because of the fit and color. “Both of these brands have amazing quality products that hold up very well to long days at the barn.”
