Bradley, Truly Blue, is a beautiful 11-year-old Warmblood gelding. Bradley is ridden by Charlotte Graham, who trains at Independence Farm under the guidance of Katie Kunk and Jessie Klein.

Bradley is a horse who enjoys balance—he loves a light workload, quiet trail rides, and lots of downtime in the fields. But don’t let his laid-back lifestyle fool you—when it’s time to step into the ring, he brings his A-game every time.
One of Charlotte’s favorite memories with Bradley happened in Traverse City, when she discovered his unexpected love for stuffed animals. “At the time, Bradley was still settling in. He was stressed about trailer rides and a bit standoffish overall,” she shares. “We got him a flamingo stuffed animal, and while he pretended not to care, it became clear he adored it.” Although the flamingo has since seen better days, Bradley’s fondness for stuffed toys remains.

Charlotte has owned Bradley for just over a year, and their bond has grown stronger with every ride. “He’s truly unlike any horse I’ve ever ridden,” she says.
His favorite treat? Peppermints—especially after a good training session!
Charlotte has always loved horses and finally convinced her parents to let her start riding five years ago. After over a year on the flat—thanks to very safety-minded parents—she began jumping. This is her third trip to PNHS: two years ago in the Children’s Hunters, last year in the 3’3” Juniors, and now in the 3’6” Juniors. A true dream come true!
