MsDEMEANOR | 12 YEAR OLD CLYDESDALE/THROUGHBRED CROSS MARE | DRIPPING SPRING,TX

Moo, MsDemeanor, is a Clydesdale/Thoroughbred Cross. They do not know much about her past but she came from Waco,TX. She now resides at Galloping Springs Ranch just outside of Austin,TX.

Lesli, Moo’s owner, says that she is a sassy independent soul. Lesli also says that she doesn’t own Moo, but that Moo owns her. Moo is a dressage horse that loves her job. Leslie says, “Moo has owned me for almost 4 years. I met her at a barn that no longer exists after wanting to get back into riding. It was love at first sight, she hadn’t been treated very well by a local “cowboy” and was emotionally not well. It took months of retraining to gain her trust and confidence. At one point before I bought her I was not allowed to see her for two months, and the barn community watched her for me and sent pictures of her. She was depressed and they all loved on her for me since I couldn’t see her. When the purchase finally went through we haven’t been apart since. She will be with me forever.”

She describes Moo as Smart, and says she loves green tea with sugar straight out of the cup! She also says that Moo used to have a garbage can that she loved to roll around in her pasture. Moo is Lesli’s first horse that she has owned, but she did eventing growing up and trained other horses in Oregon. After her experience with Moo and gaining her trust back, Leslie says patience is the biggest secret to being successful when training a horse.
