Today, I’m excited to introduce you to an adorable companion, Dudley the corgi. He’s not just any pet; he’s Marie’s little shadow, always eager to know where she is and what she’s up to. His personality is as vibrant as his love for adventure! Dudley is owned by Marie.
Dudley is truly obsessed with being close to Marie. Whether she is working in the garden, lounging on the couch, or even doing chores around the house, he’s right there, wagging his tail and keeping an eye on her. It’s like having a furry personal assistant who’s always ready to lend a paw! This unwavering loyalty makes every moment feel special, and she wouldn’t trade it for anything.
One of Dudley’s favorite pastimes is playing with the ducks in their backyard. Marie explains that “watching him interact with them is nothing short of entertaining. He hops around, playfully barking at them, while they waddle and quack in response. It’s a delightful scene that never fails to bring a smile to my face. Dudley’s curiosity and excitement are contagious, and it’s a joy to see him so engaged with his feathered friends.”
When the weather is warm, Dudley loves to hit the water! Swimming is one of his absolute favorite activities. Whether it’s a small pond or a dog-friendly pool, he dives right in, splashing around with pure glee.
As much as Dudley enjoys swimming, he also loves to join Marie on trail rides. He trots alongside her horse, taking in all the sights and sounds of nature. Marie says “it’s a beautiful experience to have him by my side as we explore new trails together. Dudley’s enthusiasm for the outdoors is infectious, and he makes every ride feel like an adventure.”

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. With the help of the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show family, Karinda has raised over $30,000 for Candlelighter’s Houston since starting this project.
