PEANUT BUTTER FALCON | 10 YEAR OLD HOLSTEINIER GELDING | AUSTIN, TX
Finn, Peanut Butter Falcon, is a dark bay Holsteiner Gelding. His sire is Picardo, and he is out of Glados. Finn is being leased by Josephine, who rides with Kalli Smith and Amy Gangstad at Monarch Stables in Buda, TX. Finn is owned by Chrystal Kwast.

Finn is full of personality, he wants a taste of anything he can get his mouth on. Does your horse have a bucket of somewhat unpalatable supplements? Fin will have it opened up and his nose in it immediately! He will even take the lid and toss it in the air like he is a Labrador trying to play fetch. In human form, Finn would be the kid who is always asking a million questions, the one who plays every sport, can be friends with everyone, and the one who is constantly eating. Finn never fails to make everyone laugh!
Josephine started leasing Finn in mid-November 2023. When she first saw Finn, she knew it was the start of something special. Finn was a big size transition from her previous horse, which was 15.2 hands, to Finn being over 17 hands! He is a gentle giant, but it took some practice for Josephine to get him bridled without sticking his nose in everything.
Finn is a foodie—he loves his treats! He is not picky about food; he will eat anything. Finn’s owner found out he loves bananas, so she made sure to tell Josephine when she started leasing him. Josephine takes his favorite food very seriously and ensures she gives him one banana a day!
When Josephine was 7 years old, she started taking riding lessons. She had her first horse at the age of 9. She is now 12 and loves riding. Her favorite thing about having her own horse is learning all about them, from their personalities to what they like and don’t like. She loves how it creates an unbreakable bond.
