Houston Equine Photography | Priya the Throughbred
Priya, Crafty Cause, is a Thoroughbred Mare. Her sire is Last Clause, her dam is Crafty Prospector who is out of Mr. Prospector.
Priya, is a retired horse that is owned by Amy. Amy says that although she is returned due to some injuries she loves to run, especially to the left. She has a kissing spine and history of a pelvis fracture, but she still makes a great pasture mate to Amy’s other horses and loves to be scratched.
As a youngster Priya was raced in Canada, then she spent some time as a good mare. Amy found her after she was left in a field, she was starving and not in great shape. Luckily Amy rescued her and she can now life out her life fat and happy at Red Shadow Ranch. Due to her rough past one word to describe Priya is “hope.” Her favorite treats are carrots.
Priya is best friends with Nev, another of Amy’s horses that lives at Red Shadow Ranch. Wherever Nev is Priya is.
