Texas Equine Photographer | Clover the Quarter Horse

Clover, Irish to Win, is a Quarter Horse Gelding. His sire is Good Bars 747, his dam is Skippen N Ona Blonde. He lives in Waller, Texas.

Clover is owned by Anna and currently trains with Sally Elliott. He is a sweet, loving, innocent guy. They do both English and Western pleasure, and he has a fabulous trot. Anna’s trainer Sally first found Clover, they have not been together for 7 months. They drove up to Dallas to a barn to try him out, and when they arrived at the barn Anna was blown away how gorgeous he was and by his size. They had three people ride him and try him out before they decided that he was perfect for Anna.

When asked to describe Clover in one word Anna chose sweet. His favorite treats are carrots.

Anna’s parents first got her and her sister a horse when she was two years old. They have grown up with horses at their house their entire life. She loves riding horses, loving on them, pampering them, and going to horse shows. Anna has had horses for 9 years.  One of her favorite memories is when she got her first blue ribbon in a halter class  with Clover because he stood so still, he was perfect with all of the distractions, and so calm.
