An Equestrian Senior Portrait session gets just a little bit better when the entire family joins in for family portraits! Plus, throw in a Violin and you truly have perfection. I had so much fun with Iris and her entire family at Two Stride Farm this past year doing her Senior Portraits. We photographed Iris with Nora & Willow. Iris rides with Adrian Griffin.

I always encourage my clients to let the entire family join in on our Horse & Rider or Senior Portrait sessions. As your kiddos grow up, it gets harder and harder to organize family portraits, and often, they get pushed off and forgotten about. If you are reading this, this is your sign to get your family portraits updated. I am so glad that Iris’s Mom was excited and willing to gather everyone for Iris’s senior portraits.

Nora, Norelien Van Hat Langwater, is a 9 year old Belgian Warmblood. She is an incredibly sweet horse, they refer to her as a little Mazeratti. She is extremely fast and willing to jump anything! They found her on a trip to Florida looking for a new horse, with their trainer Adrian. It was an incredible expeience and they knew that Nora was the one. Willow, Wonderful Willow, is a 16 year old grey Quarter Horse. Willow is the barn favorite as she is calm, willing, and will tolerate just about anything.

Capturing moments in life is crucial as it helps us appreciate the beauty and significance of the present. In our fast-paced lives, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, often overlooking the small moments that make life meaningful. By actively capturing these moments, we train ourselves to be more mindful and present in our daily lives. It encourages us to seek out moments of joy, gratitude, and connection, and to savor them fully. Through the act of capturing, we learn to find beauty in the ordinary and to cherish the fleeting nature of life.
