Meet Little Queen, who is a 20-year-old Paint pony. Her sire is Three Bars Sierra and her dam is MS Prescription Lady. This darling mare is owned and adored by Claire Hogenson who is the trainer at Leener Acres in Chappell Hill, TX.

Little Queen is in fact a queen. She is a saintly pony who is what we call bombproof meaning that you can do just about anything around this adorable horse and she doesn’t react. Most of the time this is a good thing, but when it comes to taking the horse’s portraits it can be a bit of a struggle to get their attention. We had to pull out all of the stops to get Little Queen to put her ears forward for her portraits. Carrots seemed to be the magical answer to get her excited. As she gets older she has started to have more and more white hairs appearing, she has the most unique white markings around both eyes and incredibly beautiful eyes.
