Unknown Secret is a gelding who lives in Houston, TX, and goes by “Valor”.

Valor is a brave liver chestnut with a hind right sock and star. Dana is unaware of Valor’s background and when Dana brought him home she wasn’t sure what he was capable of. In fact, she was a little hesitant to bring him home since he is a jumper and she wasn’t sure if she was ready to jump that fast yet. However, a couple of jumps later they were loading him up and bringing him home.

Dana’s favorite memory of Valor is the first time they went into the jumper ring. The pair could feel one another’s nerves and Valor acted like the jumps were going to jump out and eat him! But Valor took care of her as they navigated the course. Dana was used to competing in the hunters so entering the jumper ring was a bit scary but with Valor, she felt confident they could do it.

Valor absolutely loves his cookies and begs for them whenever someone’s willing to listen. He has a goofy personality that finds him sticking his tongue out randomly while he’s being groomed. Dana and Valor’s partnership is very new but they’re off to a great start!
