Playboys Piranha is a 21 year old retired Quarter Horse sorrel stallion that lives at Baker Bunny Farm in Richmond, Texas. He is out of Taris Catalyst, by Freckles Foxy Rio and bred by Richard and Gary Sutton.

His owner, Deana, says, “He is a very well behaved and respectful stallion. He is a retired professional reining horse. He loves the ladies! He is retired so we like to let him rest! He was a professional so he had a busy life starting as a baby. He is very gentle so it’s nice to hop on for a bareback ride or just with a halter. Or, he can still be saddled and do his tricks. He is my husband’s and such a good boy.”
They found him online and bought him out of Atlanta. They have owned him for 9 years. Her husband went to meet him at his home in Atlanta, as he was being used as a head horse. Since he has earned $55k+ in the NRHA Futurity competitions. Including, NRHA Open Futurity tied for 6th, 1st place in the 1998 Tradition Futurity, placed 3rd in the 1998 NCRHA Futurity Open, Placed 3rd in the Atlantic Breeders Main Event Futurity Open, 3rd in the North Central Futurity and many more. The list is long!
Deana says the best word to describe him is “handsome” and that he loves apple cookies!
